Happy Hollow
Happy Hollow is a serene neighborhood park just east of downtown with a playground, picnic tables and benches and restrooms. Just off Hwy 28 on Happy Hollow Road (also know as Arrington St.)
Jaycee Neighborhood Park
Jaycee is located in the northwest section of town off Hopkins Street. This recreational facility includes baseball and softball fields with concession stand and restrooms, picnic pavilions, basketball courts, tennis courts and playground equipment. Call (205) 652-2350 for more information.
Johnson Street Park
This small neighborhood park offers a basketball court, merry-go-round and swing set as well as two picnic tables and benches. Found on Johnson Street just off Hwy 11 south of downtown.
Lake LU
This lake is located on the campus of The University of West Alabama and can be accessed from Lake Drive or University Drive. Fishing and boating on Lake LU are open three days a week to the public. Surrounding the lake are the Nature trails which are used for hiking, running, bird watching, picnicking, and wildflower studying. There are also covered areas for grilling, picnicking, and several benches and picnic tables around the property

Children's Recreation
The city offers flag football, soccer, little league baseball and basketball for children 12 years old and under. For more information call City Hall (205) 652-2505
Basketball Courts are found at Jaycee Park and Johnson Street Park.
Tennis Courts are available at Jaycee Park and on the UWA Campus outside of the Student Union Building
Swimming is available on the UWA Campus at the Student Union Building and the Livingston Country Club (a private facility)
Golf - the Livingston Country Club is a private facility with a swimming pool and 9 hole golf course.
