The Livingston Police Department has 6 full time officers, 6 dispatchers and 6 vehicles.  They offer fingerprinting every Sunday from 12 noon - 3 pm for children or job/license applications.

The LPD supports neighborhood watch programs and recommends keeping record of serial numbers for your valuable possessions such as firearms and electronics.

The Livingston Fire Department has 4 full time employees, 4 part time employees and 6 student volunteers.  It is manned 24/7 

The fire department has 5 vehicles: 1 ladder truck, 1 firetruck and 3 ambulances.

In 2016 the city completed a community storm shelter.  Available to residents during tornado warnings. The facility is located behind the fire department off hwy 11.  

 

City Court

City Court meets the first Tuesday of every month at the Police Department at 5 pm. 

The City of Livingston maintains its own municipal court to resolve local violations in an expedient manner.   Fees collected help to cover court costs.
